At Advanced Building Concepts, we're ready to break ground on your brand new, custom built home.

Our president, Robert Butts, is a state-certified general contractor and has built both residential and commercial projects since 1987. Robert's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Webber International University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law. He is also an experienced attorney and partner at Warner, Sechrest & Butts, P.A.

Advanced Building Concepts recognizes the importance of ensuring our customers are not only satisfied with the finished product, but also that they are satisfied with the entire building process. In this regard, Advanced Building Concepts works with a team of professionals who will help you design and decorate your home. Further, we will assist you in becoming familiar with the steps involved in the construction of your new home so that you will be informed and comfortable making the decisions that will make your home truly unique.

Advanced Building Concepts, Inc. was started by Robert Butts, but even in the beginning, his family was always nearby to help, with his wife Susan handling many of the office duties. Now, Susan is a vital player in the organization officially, and the Butts family continues to grow. Lauren Butts-McDonald is now at Gainesville Opthalmology.

“We’re privileged to have our son-in-law, Mike [McDonald], running the day-to-day operations, and he’s doing a superb job,” Robert told The Village Journal at Haile Plantation during an interview. Read the full profile here.

Mike’s background includes commercial building experience at PPI Construction Management in Gainesville in addition to building custom homes in Nashville.

“I like working with customers and being a part of the process from design through the finish. We are committed to giving our customers a positive experience and a great product and work closely with architects and subcontractors through every phase of the building process,” Mike said.
