In exchange for the ability to forge his own path to success in the homebuilding business, the owner of Luke & Blue’s, Deron Strickman, left the corporate world in 1995 and began to build. Despite being a graduate of Boston University’s School of Management and having a background in international sales & marketing, Deron learned how to build a home from the ground up with his own two hands and has since perfected the process for his clients.
Founded in Memphis, TN, Luke & Blue’s originally specialized in building affordable single family homes as investment property. After 10 successful years of building in Memphis, Deron relocated Luke & Blue’s to Santa Rosa Beach, FL in January 2005. Since that time, he, along with his well-qualified team, has built the Luke & Blue’s brand by being hands-on and directly involved in each client’s project. By being included from the start, Deron is able to ensure that every aspect of the Luke & Blue’s homebuilding process is held to impeccable standards. Deron earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University’s School of Management with a major in Marketing and a concentration in International Sales & Marketing. Deron holds both a State of Tennessee General Contractor’s License and a State of Florida General Contractor's License. He is a member of The Estuary Board of Directors, a member of the South Walton Small Business Association Board of Directors, a former member of The Estuary Architectural Review Committee, a past President of the South Walton County Chapter of the Coastal Conservation Association and a former Board Member of Goodwill Homes Community Services, Inc.
